Sabatihane, Aegithalos caudatus trivirgatus

Ida-Aasias metsades ja põõsastikes elav sabatihase idamaine liik on väike lind, kellel on iseloomulik pikk saba ja pehme, kohevil sulestik. Väga seltsiv ja vilgas tihane kihutab tavaliselt ringi parvedes ning lakkamatult putukaid otsides. Foto sai tehtud Jaapanis, Fuji mäe jalamil, Kawaguchi järve ääres.

Found across eastern Asia in forests, woodlands, and shrubby areas, the Eastern Long-tailed Tit is a small, round songbird with a distinctive long tail and soft, fluffy plumage. Highly social and active, it flits through trees in lively flocks, constantly chirping as it searches for insects. The photo was taken by the Lake Kawaguchi, at the foot of Mount Fuji in Japan.
