Sericornis frontalis laevigaster, White-browed Scrubwren

Sericornis frontalis laevigaster, White-browed Scrubwren, buff-breasted
Foto sai tehtud Austraalias, Lamingtoni rahvuspargis.
The White-browed Scrubwren is a small, active songbird found across much of southern and eastern Australia. It likes to busy itself in the dense undergrowth of forests, heathland, and suburban gardens. The bird forages on or near the ground, rummaging through fallen leaf litter and low vegetation to find tasty insects. You can often hear the scrubwren long before you manage to see it, since its song is sharp and, you might even say, scolding. The photo was taken in Lamington National Park, Australia.
