Myiophobus flavicans, Flavescent Flycatcher

See eestikeelse nimeta tikat on väike värvuliste seltsi kuuluv lind, kes elutseb Andide mägimetsades, peamiselt Colombias, Ecuadoris ja Peruus. Tal on oliivroheline ülapool, kollakas alapool ning peas võib vahest näha ka väikest tutti. Linnu toidulaual on peamiselt putukad, mida ta püüab vilkalt ja osavalt tiheda taimestiku seest. Foto sai tehtud ühel udusel hommikul Mindo pilvemetsas, Ecuadoris.

The flavescent flycatcher is a small passerine bird native to the montane forests of the Andes, particularly in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. It features olive-green upperparts, yellowish underparts, and a slightly crested head. Its diet mainly consists of insects, which it captures through swift, agile foraging among dense vegetation.This photo was taken on a foggy morning in the cloud forest of Mindo, Ecuador.
