Esimest korda elus õnnestus mul näha suurt tedreparve. Sinna kuulus kokku
üle 20 linnu ning rõhuva osa nendest moodustasid emaslinnud. Kuna kaugelt
tundusid nad pigem rästad (sest no tõesti pole tetresid talvel niimoodi
parves näinud ja seetõttu ei osanud seda ka eeldada), siis fotokas oli
laskevalmis alles hetkel, kui põllale oli jäänud alles ainult üks julge
tedrekukk. Sellist vaatepilti pakuti Nigula looduskaitsealal,
Pärnumaal.
The first time in my life I was able to see a large flock of Black
Grouses. It consisted of more than 20 birds and most of them were female.
As they seemed like blackbirds from afar (because I really did not expect
to see a bunch of grouses on a field in winter), then the camera was ready
when only one courageous male bird was left on the field. This spectacular
sight was on offer in Nigula Nature Reserve, Estonia.
