Eestikeelse nimeta seemneõgija on peamiselt Kesk-Ameerika liik, kuid teda
leidub ka Kolumbia ning Ecuadori Vaikse ookeani rannikualadel. Sobilikuks
elupaigaks on madalamad piirkonnad, kus siis hangitakse erinevaid
kõrreliste seemneid ning kui päris häda käes, siis ka marju ja putukaid.

Variable seedeater is a Central American bird that can also be found on
the Pacific edges of Colombia and Ecuador. It inhabits lowlands and
foothills where there is plenty of grass and other seeds. Or fruits and
insects if things are not that great. The photo was taken on a
pasture by the Caribbean coast in Costa Rica.
