Aulid on veelinnud, kes käivad Eestis talvitumas. Kevadel rännatakse taas põhja poole - Arktikasse - tagasi, kus siis veedetakse ülejäänud aasta. Läänemeri on aulide jaoks oluline talvituspaik - siin talvitub rohkem kui pool populatsioonist. Fotod tehtud Saaremaal.
Long-tailed ducks are waterbirds that come to Estonia to spend the winter. In spring they migrate back to north - to the Arctics - where they spend the rest of the year. Baltic Sea is the most important wintering area for these ducks, over half of the population spend the winter months here. The photos were taken in Saaremaa island, Estonia.
