Akaatsiakäblikud elutsevad väikeste gruppidena ning minu hinnangul on
nendes ka midagi eht eestlaslikku - nimelt kaitsevad nad oma territooriumi
lauldes. Lauldakse kõva häälega, mõnikord paaris, mõnikord suuremate
gruppidena ja väidetavalt selline heidutus isegi toimib. Foto

Rufous-backed Wrens live in small family groups and in my opinion there is something
very estonian in them as they defend their home by singing (Estonians are
known to have regained their independence from Soviet Union by singing -
it's a nice myth, but still...). Territories are defended by
producing loud song, often as a duet or a chorus and this kind of
deterrence allegedly even works. Carara National Park, Costa Rica.
