2015 oli Lõuna-Aafrika Vabariigis laimokk-ninasarvikute salaküttimise
osas esimene positiivne aasta pärast 2007.-t. Kui muidugi nii saab öelda
aasta kohta, kus ebaseadusliku tapmise tagajärjel kaotas elu 1175
ohustatud liigi esindajat. Seda on siiski 40 võrra vähem kui aasta
varem, kuigi kui tervet Aafrikat vaadata, oli 2015 taaskord rekordaasta
(1338 tapetud sarvikut). Võrdluseks ka 2007 aasta number - 13 - mis
näitab selgelt, kui palju on Kagu-Aasia idiootsed uskumused ühe
