Leeterüdi on suur rändur, nagu enamus kahlajaid. Pesitsusalaks on neil kõrg-Arktika (ehk siis nii kaugel kui minna kannatab), kuid talvitutakse oluliselt lõunapool - Lõuna-Ameerikas, Aafrikas ja ka Austraalias. Need fotod on tehtud India ookeani kaldal, iSimangaliso märgala kaitsealal, LAV-s.
Sanderling is a great migrant like most of the waders. Their nesting grounds are in High Arctic (i.e. as far as you can go) but the birds fly south for winter - to South America, Africa and Australia. These photos are taken by the shore of Indian ocean in iSimangaliso Wetland Park, South Africa.
