Idüll ninasarvikutega. Laimokk-ninasarvikutel läheb uMkhuze looduskaitsealal hästi - nende arvukus on vaikselt kasvamas ning seetõttu on nende võimsate loomade kohtamine sealkandis vägagi tõenäoline. Näiteks selle mudaaugu lähistel oli sarvikuid ühel hetkel kokku 11 tükki (samas Krugeris nägin mitme päeva peale kokku ainult paari)! Siiski on loomad tänasel päeval suures väljasuremisohus, tänu peamiselt Aasiast lähtuvale nõudlusele sarvede osas, mistõttu lisan siia taas lingi päästeprojektile "Päästke ninasarvik".
Idyll with rhinos. White rhino does very well in uMkhuze Game Reserve - their numbers are steadily growing and therefore the chance of meeting these glorious animals there is very high. For example I saw at one time 11 rhinos near this mud hole (in the same time met only couple of them in Kruger National Park where I spent almost 6 days). Despite that positive news, white rhinoceros is still highly endangered animal today mainly due to the increasing demand of the horns in Asia and therefore I include here one more time the link to "Save the Rhino" project.
