Taigakiur elutseb üsna avatud maastikel, näiteks rohumaadel, kus leidub palju varjulisi puid. Teda võib leida ka põllumajandusmaastikel. Foto sai tehtud Taiwani kõrgmäestikus asuvas Alishani rahvuspargis.

Olive-backed Pipit can be found in fairly open country, such as grassy meadows, where there are plenty of shady trees. It is also common in cultivated areas and farmlands. The photo was taken in Alishan National Park, in the highlands of Taiwan.
