Kuning-fregattlind, Fregata minor ridgwayi

Teine Galápagosel elutsev fregattlinnu liik - kuning-fregattlind (keiser-fregattlinnu isaslindu näeb siin). Nad on välimuselt väga sarnased ja sa pead ikka hoolikalt vaatama, et neil vahet teha. Both species are very similar and there are only subtle differences that you can spot if you look closely. On this photo you can see (almost) clearly the distinctive feature of the female bird - red eye ring. The eye ring of the Magnificent Frigatebird female is blue.
