Alates tänasest hakkab blogisse regulaarselt pilte ilmuma veel ühest
maailmanurgast - Omaani Sultaniriigist. Pärast mitmeaastast pausi sai taas
ette võetud üks pikem rännak ning seekord oli sihtkohaks Araabia poolsaare
kaunis kagunurk. Looduspiltide (eriti linnupiltide) saak oli üle ootuste hea
ning alustuseks siia üks väga efektse välimusega rannikuäärsete laguunide
lind. Foto sai tehtud Wadi Ashawqi kaitsealal, Dhofari regioonis,
Omaanis.
Starting from today I will add yet another country to the list
where I post nature photos from - Sultanate of Oman. After couple of years
of covid-pause me and my family made a round trip in this beautiful corner
of the Arabian peninsula and the volume of nature photos (especially bird
photos) even surpassed my high expectations. The first photo is of a well
known and unique-looking bird - Greater Flamingo - and it was taken
in Wadi Ashawq Nature Preserve, Dhofar region, Oman.
