Vöötsaba-vigle, Limosa lapponica

Vöötsaba-vigle on lind, keda minusugune hobipiltnik kohtab harva. Eestis see kurvitsaline ei pesitse, mistõttu võib viglesid näha vaid läbirände ajal ning Eesti lääneservas. Rändab ta aga arktilise tundra (kus on pesitsuspaik) ja Lääne-Euroopa ning Lääne-Aafrika (kus lind talvitub) vahel. Foto sai tehtud Läänemaal.

Bar-tailed Godwit is a bird that an amateur photographer like myself does not see very often. It does not nest in Estonia therefore the godwits can be seen only during the migrations and in western parts of the country. The bird migrates between arctic tundra (breeding area) and Western Europe and Western Africa (wintering area). The photo was taken in Läänemaa, Estonia.
