Džungli-turteltuvi võib leida põhimõtteliselt kogu Himaalaja-aluses Aasias
- Pakistanist Indoneesiani. Tegemist on liigiga, keda inimtegevuse mõjud
loodusele ülemäära ei sega, pigem on asi isegi vastupidi. Nende tuvide
populatsioon on kasvamas ning mõnes piirkonnas on kasv olnud isegi väga
kiire. Pildil olev isend kükitas ühel varahommikul Taiwani lõunatipus,
Kentingi rahvuspargis.
Spotted dove is found basically everywhere in sub-Himalayan Asia - from Pakistan to Indonesia. It's a species that is not too much bothered about the human impact on nature, actually it's even vice versa. The population of these doves has grown consistently and in a very rapid pace in some places. The photo was taken in an early morning in Kenting National Park, on the southern tip of Taiwan.
