Pugal-harakööbik, Copsychus saularis

Pugal-harakööbiku elupaik on Indias ning Kagu-Aasias. Oma nime on saanud ta selle järgi, et isaslind oma must-valge sulestiku ning pika sabaga meenutab harakat, kuid kõige rohkem on  ta tuntud siiski oma väga kauni laulu poolest. Antud fotol on emaslind ning kaamera ette jäi ta Sicao märgalal, Taijiangi rahvuspargis, Taiwanis.

Oriental Magpie-robin is found in Indian subcontinent and South East Asia. The bird got its name from the fact that the male bird with its black and white plumage and long tail resembles to a magpie. Besides that, magpie-robin is also well know for its beautiful song. Here you can see a female bird and the photo was taken in Sicao wetland, Taijiang National Park, Taiwan.
