Võrkamadiini alamliik topela elutseb kogu Kagu-Aasias - Myanmarist Taiwanini. Nagu fotodelt näha, tarvitab lind söögiks seemneid, kuid ära ei ütle ka putukatest. Elutsetakse koos parvedes ning üks selline parv jäi kaamera ette Taitungi parkmetsa roostikus, Taiwanis.
The subspecies topela of Scaly-breasted Munia can be found all of SE Asia - from Myanmar to Taiwan. As you can see from the photos, the favorite food of the bird is seeds but it does not say no to insects also. Munias live together in flocks and I found one of such flocks in reed bed of the Taitung Forest Park, Taiwan.
