Järjekordne Uus-Meremaa endeemne liik - uusmeremaa tuvi (maoori keeles
Kereru või Kukupa). Tegemist on tõelise mürakaga, sest pikkust on linnul
lausa üle poole meetri. Eesti lindudest kõlbaks seega suuruse mõttes
võrrelda hiireviuga. Foto tehtud Fiordlandi piirkonnas, Uus-Meremaa

Yet another NZ endemic species - New Zealand Pigeon (maori name
Kereru or Kukupa). It's a really big bird as the length exceeds half a
metre. So if to compare it with the European birds then this pigeon is
the same size as Eurasian Buzzard. The photo is taken in Fiordland
region, New Zealand.
