Kui hääle järgi peaks arvama, siis on möiraahvid maailma ühed kõige
hirmsamad kiskjad. Džunglis ikka võtab seest päris õõnsaks kui möirakas
sinu kohal kõrioreli valla päästab. Tegelikult on aga tegemist veendunud
taimetoitlastega, kelle peamiseks söögiks on puulehed, kuid ka õite ja
puuviljade peale nina ei kirtsutata. Piltidel on mantel-möiraahv Caño
Negro märgalal, Costa Ricas omale hommikusööki hankimas.
If one should guess only by listening the voice, the howler would be
the scariest predator in the whole world. It is quite a hair-raising
experience when the howler monkey starts calling somewhere above you in
the jungle. But actually the monkey is a convinced vegetarian. Most of
its diet consists of leaves but it does not say no to flowers and fruits
either. On the photos you can see a Golden-mantled howler enjoying
its breakfast in Caño Negro wetland, Costa Rica.
