Tamme-kirjurähn on kaitsealune liik, keda reeglina metsas ei näe. Elupaikadeks sobivad pigem mõisa- ja linnapargid. Sellegipoolest on tema kohtamine paras vedamine, sest nende rähnide arvukus Eestis on väike ja ta tegutseb tavaliselt kõrgel puude latvades. Foto tehtud Pärnumaal.
Middle Spotted Woodpecker is a protected species in Estonia and you can meet it usually in old city and manor parks. Despite that, seeing this woodpecker is a rare chance as there are not many of them in our country and it usually operates high on treetops. The photo is taken is Pärnumaa, Estonia.
