Pildil olev haigur on hõbehaigru üks liikidest, kes elutseb Aasias ja Okeaanias. Kuigi tegemist on üsna levinud liigiga, siis Uus-Meremaal on ta suur haruldus ning pesitsuskohti on seal riigis täpselt üks. Maooride jaoks (nendekeelne nimi on linnul kotuku) on tegemist püha linnuga ning haigru erilisust näitab ka asjaolu, et teda on kujutatud riigi 2-dollarisel mündil. Eastern Great Egret is a species of egret that is found in Asia and Oceania. Although it's a common species in most parts of the range, in New Zealand this egret is rather rare and has only one breeding site throughout the country. For maoris (bird's name is kotuku in their language) it's a sacred bird and the fact that eastern great egret is depicted in NZ 2$ coin, shows that the bird is special.
