Süsikormoran on ainus teadaolev kormoraniliik, kes sukeldub kalade
järele vee kohal lennates. Vastupidiselt suuladele ei tee ta seda aga
väga kõrgelt, vaid piirdub sulpsamisega maksimaalselt poole meetri
kõrguselt. Tegelikult ei ole ta ka seda tehnikat kasutades eriti osav -
kala saab kormoran kätte vaid ühel korral kuuest kuni kümnest

The Neotropic Cormorant is the only cormorant known to plunge-dive
into water to catch fish. Unlike gannets and boobies, it does not dive
from great heights, restricting its dives to less than a half-meter
over the water. It is not particularly successful with this technique,
catching a fish only once in every six to ten plunges. Caño Negro
