Safran-kangurlind, Ploceus subaureus

Safran-kangurlind elutseb Keeniast ja Tansaaniast kuni Aafrika lõunatipuni (st idarannikul). Nagu kangurlindude puhul ikka, on elupaigaks veekogude äärsed alad, eelistatult siis pilliroomassiivid. Foto tehtud Lõuna-Aafrika Vabariigi rannikul, Umhlanga laguuni kaitsealal.

African Golden Weaver or Yellow Weaver (as it is known locallly) is found from Kenya and Tanzania to the southern tip of the Africa continent (i.e. on the east coast). As it usually is with weavers, it prefers areas near water bodies as home and the reed beds are definite favorites. The photo is taken on the coast of South Africa, in Umhlanga Lagoon Nature Reserve.
