Sometimes it just happens that the bird is beautiful and the background is perfect but the sitting place is still a wire. Nevertheless, turquoise-browed motmot is still one of the most elegant and stunning birds I have ever met. The colorful plumage and delicate tail (even "bare" in places) make this guy very easy on the eye.  You can find this motmot from Yucatan peninsula in Mexico to Costa Rica. These photos are taken in the southern tip of the range, in Carara National Park, Costa Rica.
