Lauk on lind, keda võib meil kohata praktiliselt igal vähegi suuremal veekogul. Tavaliselt on nad kahekesi, mõnikord nelja-viiekesi. Eelmisel nädalal aga võis ühel Läänemaa lahel näha sellist pilti, kus laukusid oli koos sadu (võimalik, et ka tuhandeid) - see oli päris sürreaalne vaatepilt.
Common Coot is a bird that you can find in most of the lakes and rivers of Estonia. Usually there is just one pair, sometimes 4-5 birds. But last week I happened to witness a sight on the bay in Läänemaa, Estonia where there were hundreds (maybe even thousands) of coots. This was quite surreal scene.
