Lõuna-Aafrikas ringi sõites sai selgeks tõsiasi, et ilmaga on seal lihtne - kui päike paistab on väga palav, kui päike on pilve taga, siis on päris jahe. Hea näide oli Blyde kanjonis (vaated piirkonnast on tänastel piltidel). Päev varem oli seal siranud päike ja kraade 35 Celsiuse järgi, too päev aga upitas kraadiklaasi elavhõbedasammas end napilt-napilt üle 10 kraadi. Mõned päevad hiljem tuli taas päike välja ja 30 kraadi sai uuesti kiirelt ületatud. LAV.
While driving around in South Africa, it became evident that predicting the weather is easy - if the sun is shining it's very hot and if it's cloudy then it's quite chilly. For example this day in Blyde canyon (where the photos are taken). A day before there was a sunny weather and the temperatures reached 35 degrees centigrade but on that day it barely exceeded 10 degrees. Few days later the sun returned and the temperature was in the thirties again. South Africa.
