Panama tšatšalaka, Ortalis cinereiceps

Panama tšatšalaka on Kesk-Ameerika lind (elutseb Hondurasest Kolumbiani) ja ta kuulub iidsesse lindude gruppi Cracidae perekonnas, kes on seotud Australaasia nn "künkaehitajatega". Enamuse aja oma elust veedab tšatšalaka puude otsas ning eriti meeldib talle tegutseda tihnikutes. Pikkust on linnul veidi üle poole meetri ja toitub ta peamiselt puuviljadest. Grey-headed Chachalaca is a Central American bird (found from Honduras to Colombia) and is a member of an ancient group of birds of the Cracidae family, which are related to the Australasian mound builders. The grey-headed chachalaca is an arboreal species, found in thickets with emergent trees. They are typically just over half metres long and main diet is fruit.
