Howicki kosk

Howicki kosk on suulude keeles KwaNogqaza, mis tähendab sisuliselt "Pika kodu". Kõrge on ta tõepoolest, kuigi oma 95 meetriga on Lõuna-Aafrikas pigem keskmike seas. Legendid räägivad, et kose all vees elab maotaoline koletis nimega Inkanyamba, kellega oskavad suhelda ainult kohalikud šamaanid. Uss ennast kahjuks ei ilmutanud, mistõttu tuleb leppida maastikuvaadetega.
Howick Falls is called KwaNogqaza in zulu language and it means "The place of the Tall One". The waterfall with its 95 metres is quite high but still rather average compared to other cascades in South Africa. According to local legend, the pool at the bottom of the falls is the residence of the Inkanyamba, a giant serpent-like creature. It is said that only local shamans are able to communicate with it. As the worm did not show itself, one must be satisfied with these scenic views.
