Fotod tehtud Tartumaal.
Gull is not a glamorous bird - there are always many of them, they are everywhere and they are loud. But a gull is never just a gull - there are many different species. On today's photos you can see a Little Gull that is the smallest gull in the world and a protected species in Estonia. It is quite rare avian in our country. You can distinguish Little Gull from the others by the size of course but also by a completely black head and eye and also by blackish underparts of the wings. The photos are taken in Tartumaa, Estonia.
