Heletilder, Tringa nebularia

Heletilder, Tringa nebularia, Common greenshank, Greater, tilder, kurvits
Jaanalinnud pidid pea liiva alla peitma kui hädaohtu tunnetavad. Aga mida teha kui oled poolveeline lind?
The ostriches supposed to bury their heads in the sand when they're scared or threatened. But what can you do if you are a wader and like to move around in water?

Lihtne!
Heletilder on muide üsna rännuhimuline lind. Pesa punub ta lähisarktikas (ka Eestis kohtab seda tildrit üsna palju), aga talvitub enamasti Aasias, Austraalias ja Aafrikas. Antud fotod ongi tehtud Kruger rahvuspargis, LAV-s. Ahjaa, see jaanalinnu jutt on tegelikult müüt :)
Easy!
Common Greenshank is quite a traveller. It nests in subarctics (this wader is quite common also in Estonia) but winters in Asia, Australia or Africa. These photos are taken in Kruger National Park, South Africa. By the way - the story about the ostrich is a myth :)
