Tutt-tihane on meie metsades üsna tavaline lind, kuid näeb teda palju harvem kui teisi tihaseid, sest reeglina nad metsast väljapoole ei liigu. Lemmikelupaikadeks on okaspuumetsad ning tal on ka komme talveks toitu varuda, seda puupragudesse peites. European Crested Tit is a quite common bird in Estonia but you can see them less often than the other tits as they usually do not leave the woods. The favorite habitat includes coniferous forests and the Crested Tit likes to stock food for the winter by hiding them in a tree crevices.
